When something isn’t working, it’s easy to focus on what’s right in front of you.
But what looks like a behavior problem is often something more layered underneath.
It’s rarely the full story.
I have three kids, now young adults, each with their own path, strengths, and challenges—including experiences with AuDHD, anxiety, depression, and learning differences.
My husband and I have built a life together over the past 18 years, blending our family and navigating co-parenting across households—sometimes in sync, sometimes not.
There’s a lot of love in that—and a lot we’ve had to figure out along the way: navigating neurodivergence, school challenges, and mental health struggles, and learning how to respond in ways that actually shift the dynamic.
These experiences shape how I approach this work.
It’s not about having all the answers. It’s about understanding the moving parts, seeing the bigger picture, and responding in ways that actually lead to something more productive.
There’s also the lived experience of parenting—where things don’t follow a script, and where context matters just as much as any framework.
My background includes an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, along with over 18 years of lived and applied experience as a parent, and more than a decade of coaching and mentoring individuals through growth, decision-making, and real-world challenges. Together, these experiences shape how I think about development, behavior, and relationships. At the same time, I look at things through a practical lens—breaking situations down, noticing patterns, and identifying what might actually create change.
You don’t need to figure this out in isolation.
We’ll walk through it together—steadily, thoughtfully, one step at a time.
